¡¡Oh ya!!

¡¡Hola Familia!!

No pictures this week but I am going to send the DVD with all the videos and pictures of my last area.

A little late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY Rachelle :) You are so stinken old!!

Also did Tanner get the letter I mailed him?

This week was pretty cool. One of my favorite parts was doing divisions with an Elder from Peru. I liked it so much because he lives like in the middle of the jungle and I got to ask him questions all day long. It’s a city called Iquitos in Loreto Peru. He seriously lives 100 meters away from the Amazon river. He would hunt Crocodiles before the mission! It’s so cool hearing and talking about the church to people from all over the place. The same gospel that has helped me my whole life is even all the way down here in South America and brings people the same happiness.

I’m still really liking this area. We have 2 baptisms planned for this coming Saturday. They are two boys named Pablo and Nestor. They come from a really big but poor family. I think with time the rest of the family will come along as well. In the house lives a single mom with her seven kids. And of those seven kids the two oldest have kids of their own that live with them making it 11 altogether in the house. It’s so cool because they all come to listen when we teach. Seeing all the little kids running around all the time and ruining everything makes me think of me when I was little. Makes me think of how much my older siblings and parents had to put up with.

We have a really awesome new investigator because he is a reference from a member. (always the best). The member is helping us teach him which makes it even better. His name is Omar and recently had his first kid. He says he wants to do things right to be a good example for his son. He also had a pretty bad accident about a month ago that he said has made him think a lot. It’s always when we think about how things really are that we turn more to God

Another example of that is one investigator named Malvina we found last week. She has a really weird disease, I don’t really understand it. But she can’t pee. Three times a week she does this cycle at the hospital where they pump all her blood through a machine. I feel pretty bad for her because I don’t like getting needles! She has to do that until she gets a transplant which she is waiting for. She is way cool though.

Well hope everyone has a great week. Love you all!!
