The E.T. 11-1-10

Hey Fam.

Here are the pictures of our last baptism. The two boys Pablo (the
older of the two is the one I baptized) and Nestor. I love baptisms!
Now all the family is the goal.

Wow it sounds like that Halloween party was pretty sweet! We got to get something like that going here! No, Halloween isn’t really celebrated here. I almost forgot all about Halloween actually.

Somebody tell Adam to stop trying to kill himself. I thought I left
him with that advice before I left...

This week has really been awesome and full of experiences!

First cool miracle happened Monday. After P-day we started knocking
doors. Like usually when knocking doors I started thinking about how
ineffective it is. I also started thinking about how a good miracle
would be good right about now. (I seriously was thinking that and that
it’s been a while since we had a good miracle) God had mercy and gave
me one. The next door opened and a lady was giving us the usually
response, a little aggressively, about how she wasn’t interested and
didn’t believe and any religion. Then as she was closing the door in
our face a huge voice from behind says "hey, hey, hey, now hold on a second, I want these guys to teach my kids about God." So they let us in and we have now begun teaching this family of five.

The lady with the kidney dialysis (so that’s what it’s called huh?) has had little progress this week, haven’t been able to find her.

Wednesday pretty much our whole day was screwed. They did a census (I think that is what it is called in english) for all of Argentina. Where people come to every house and asked questions like how many people live there and stuff. We were told not to leave till they come
to our house and ask us the questions and then we could leave just
not knock doors. Well they finally came to our house around 1 but only talked with our landlord. They told him they would be coming back so we had to keep waiting. Well at 6 that night we finally left and the people
never came. Such a waste!

We also did a family history center visit with one of our investigator
families this week. It was pretty cool. I learned a lot too. The
parents of the family are really excited now to. The mom is determined
to go to the temple this coming year. They just have to get married (a very common problem here)

Saturday we had the baptism and it went great. This ward is so amazing
and help so much!! They did everything and we could use all the time
helping investigators. I have never had a ward so awesome!

Still more stories but I got to go now. Love you all and thanks so much!!
