Hey family!
Dang dad you didn’t have to put it that way... My last week as being a teenager...
I really loved the cinders movie. Seems like everyone still had fun even without me... Thanks for your testimony dad! Rachelle I don’t know who this Chris guy is but tell him to take it easy alright?
The world cup has started this week and I never thought the mission would be the first place I would watch it at. It’s so big down here and luckily Argentina won their first game. It’s good because the people are happier. In every house we go into they at least have the games on in the background. It is going to be impossible to go tracting on the days Argentina plays.
The week has been great. I really like my new companion. He is really layed back and just pretty much lets me do whatever and he follows. We have two baptisms coming up. One for the 26th of June and another for the 10th of July.
We did a lot of service this week. The Zapana family (from Peru) we are helping build a new house). It’s kinda cool because down here if there is open land you can just build on it. Not legally but if you have a house the government I guess can’t do anything about it. So lots of people in our area (since we are on the edge of the city) build little one room houses. The Bulgarian family we are helping build a fence since they are tired of getting robbed.
We did a really fun activity with the ward. We read a few scriptures on unity and for every scripture we would play a game. We played "what if" "human knot" and "signs." It was so fun. They all love learning American games! They also loved our American brownies me and my companion made. I sent a picture of them with my new companion. One of our part member familys that came to the activity wants to do a family home evening where we bring brownies and maple syrup (there is none of that down here either) and they make waffles. Sounds good to me.
It has gotten pretty cold down here. The wind still blows hard as ever... Got to go. Love ya!!!
