Hey Familia

I really loved the pictures from the cinders! There were a ton of you kids! That’s awesome. How did you manage all that dad? Sounds like everything broke but not too many were hurt. All the grandkids are getting huge!

This week has been great. My new companion Elder Hansen got here Tuesday morning at 5:00. He is from Portland Oregon and this is his last transfer (6 weeks) in the mission. He is so cool! He is a ton more laid back than my last companion but willing to work lots more! He is really funny. It’s weird speaking english again though.

We started the transfer off great, putting a baptismal date and finding lots of new people. Our baptism is going to be on the 26th of June. His name is Carlos and it was pretty cool how we found him. We were at the church for the english class and the other elders were coming to the church too, to have a baptismal interview. They were on the bus with Carlos and got off at the same stop so as they were walking they started talking to him and invited him to the church. Carlos told them he had been wanting to get to know "this church" and so the other elders told him they could give him a tour right then. Carlos stayed for the English class and came to church the next day and we have been teaching him. I want to find more people like him!

Our other family, the Bulgarian family was almost robbed this week so we couldn’t teach them much. There is so much robbing here its amazing! People move here (Comodoro) to gain lots of money but usually have to spend all money gained on building big fences and security for their houses. Many houses appear more like prisons from the outside than actual houses.

Mom can you send me Ammon’s new mailing address? The last letter I received from you mom was number 37. We haven’t got mail yet today though and I haven’t gotten any from you for the past two weeks.

I was thinking about something you could send me for my birthday, and the thing I would want most is Your’s and Dad’s testimony of how you both came to know the church is true :)

Love you all! Tell me about the summer plans!

Elder Tryon
