Another amazing week in the mission!

Hey Ya´ll

Cant send pictures because the computer wont let me...

This really was an amazing week!

My new companion Elder Boyd, he is awesome! He is a way hard worker! I made the mistake last week… saying that he was from Utah. I didn’t mean to insult him like that when really he is from Gilbert ARIZONA! YA! That’s probably partly why he is so cool! He is pretty young in the mission to be a zone leader already. I think he has 10 months in the mission. He always makes comments about how old I am in the mission, which I am not used to because all my companions, except one, have had more time in the mission until now. I’m usually the one making the old missionary jokes! He really is a great missionary though. As soon as he got here, even without sleeping all night, we went straight to work and worked all week long, nonstop.

I think due to the fact that we worked all week, God really blessed us. (He always does that!!!) 6 investigators accepted a baptismal date, we found some really cool new families, and have received references and help offers from the members! If those aren’t blessings for a missionary, I don’t know what is!!

One cool family, the Prado family that was a member reference, we finally made contact with and had an amazing lesson. One of the techniques we have been using is to end every lesson with a kneeling prayer and ask the head of the house to offer it. Well we did that with this family but the dad was resisting. That is normal so we knew what to do to get him to pray anyways but all of a sudden the mom started praying. I was like Dang Girl! During the prayer the spirit was so strong that she started crying. I was just thinking, well I bet the dad must feel horrible right now... but it all ended great, we have great hopes for them :D

Oh, we also had 9 kids come to our english class! That’s the new record here. The cool part is that 4 of them aren’t members yet!

We have quite a few other families too that we have had some really awesome lessons with. My new companion can sing really well too so we always start our lessons with a nice hymn to get some extra spiritual bonus points. I’m in the process of translating my song, I Never Stand alone. My companion and I just might perform it sometime in a sacrament meeting or baptismal service. I love the mission! Love you all too!!!! :D
