Not sure why last weeks post didn't post but here it is:
Todo bien!
Hey family!
I was in the middle of my letter when the computer turned off, so I’m going to try again.
I can’t believe it’s already time for you guys to go to the cinders again, without me! Make sure you take pictures, this time, to send me. No I didn’t go to the temple dedication. Many people don’t even know where Arizona is down here.
We have really had a lot of good things happen this week! We did our activity Friday and it went way good! We did it with the two wards that meet together in our building. We did a bunch of little skits, 6 of us missionaries and it was hilarious. I’m going to see If I can send some movies to you guys. We had 4 investigators go and they all loved it!
Our baptism got postponed to this coming Saturday because the mom of our investigator went into labor Friday night. What a coincidence no? She wants my companion to baptize her so I think it’s good it got postponed. He gets to baptize the day before he goes home! For only having a week left he has really been working hard. It’s hard to believe we have almost 3 months together!
The Bulgarian family is doing good again. We were straight forward with them and it turns out that the dad really hadn’t received an answer that the church is true. He received it this week :) He wasn’t sure before if he had received an answer (meaning he hadn’t received an answer.) They are working on getting married again!
We actually found new investigators this week too! It’s been great! One cool one was a contact we did with a lady. She told us to come back another day because, well because that’s what everyone tells us. When we came back her husband was there too and she said she was only letting us in because she told us we could come back (that’s fine with me!) Then she explained that she was baptized with her family but 3 years later her whole family fell away because they found out about a bishop that was stealing from the church. We talked a lot and her husband asked a lot of questions, like is it true that Joseph Smith is the most important in your church? The lesson ended great and we are going back again.
Keep up the good work family. Talk to ya next week!
Elder Tryon
