Dear Family!!

Man every week on the mission is so amazing! But after so many weeks it’s hard to remember everything that happened! Rachelle are you ready for your finals? I guess I can find out next week when I call.

My companion is doing so much better! The closer he gets to finishing the mission the better our numbers have been getting. We have seen many miracles and even the members are really excited and it got my companion excited for the work. I just got to keep him going for 4 more weeks. It’s funny having a Latino companion, it’s a totally new experience. Sometimes I start speaking English to him on accident and he just stares and me and says “sure.” It’s funny the English phrases he knows!

Our investigators have had quite a bit of persecution recently. I know it has to come sooner or later but sometimes it makes me so mad! I really think people just follow us around sometimes and tell all our investigators garbage. Here in Argentina people are usually friends with all their neighbors and when one person starts to let the missionaries in, the whole neighborhood knows. Our best investigators (the Bogarín family) luckily have told us about all their experiences and we have been able to solve all their doubts. The mom is amazing. She told us “When you guys came to us you only talked why your church is true but all the other churches here just talk about how all the other churches all false except their own. Thank you!” I don’t know how many investigators we lose to persecution but it just makes we want to work harder!

We have worked a lot with the members this week and it’s amazing how much better that is! We teach twice as many lessons and the people can relate so much better. We did splits and I went with our ward mission leader and I swear, during the lesson, whenever I would talk the guy wouldn’t pay much attention. I don’t know why because our ward mission leader talks really slow and usually doesn’t say much but the investigator listened really good to him. So I let my pride go.... and just asked the ward mission leader questions to practically teach the lesson and it went great! We then planned a family home evening with the ward mission leader’s family the next day and invited the man and he came! Afterwards the man was so happy, asking us if we did those every week.

Well got to go. Today we are going to see some windmills! There are a lot here in Comodoro. I look forward to talking to you guys on Sunday  Love ya all!
