Querido Familia

Well last week I thought I had the best week ever but this week definitely beats it. Me and my companion knew it would probably be our last week together (and it is) and so we made some high goals and planned to work hard. We had the goal of achieving the "standard of excellence" which is the same for the whole mission and is just what it sounds like. We got everything but we ended up short 4 new investigators! But it was still an amazing week.

We were running all over the place the whole week, trying to get our 50 contacts everyday. We got it every day except Sunday, we only got 37 (that’s probably why we didn’t get our new investigators). But really I don’t know how it works out because we do more contacts now and some how are able to teach more lessons? It’s Awesome!

We need to find more families though. We found one this week. A single Mom and a 15, 13 and 1 year old. The Mendez family. They are so awesome. When we found them we taught them the plan of salvation and they had 4 other friends over so we taught the whole lot of them.

Rubéns baptism was Saturday and I must say it was amazing. We have gotten so close to him. He makes us bread like every other day! He invited lots of his family to the baptism and we already started teaching them with Rubén. He tells us we are going to baptize his whole family.

My companion leaves today at 5 and my new companion will be Elder Grinko is another one from Utah and will get here tomorrow at 12. I will have to go with two other elders for a while till he gets here. I have heard he is a hard worker so I’m excited, once I show him the area.

Love ya all! I’m going to try and send some pictures with my five minutes!
