Mi familia!!

Ok wow!! I almost cry reading your letters every week!! You guys have to stop being so awesome because it’s making me work my butt off trying to work as hard as you at home! Don’t worry about not writing every week because I really don’t have a lot of time to read much every week, like today I only have 20 minutes after reading all you messages mostly because it takes so long to open stuff up. Mom, I was able to open the 3 picture attachments you sent ¿through gmail? but Today I’m on a different computer than normal so maybe it will be different another day.

Man, I really wish I had something cool to say to all of you after all the cool stuff you told me! This week has actually been really hard. We had a major let down when none of our investigators came to church =( We had planned for about 10 to come and were pretty much certain on 6 of them!! I was so bummed!!! We did have one of our less active families we have been working with come though.

We had zone conference this week which was really awesome! The only problem is, it takes a day away from our work... and yesterday the Assistant President missionaries stayed with us. I got to go with one and my companion got to go with the other one and we got to do twice the work in our area! That was good because we have a lot to do but we didn’t have any success the whole day... We probably went by 20 good contacts that we had and didn’t get in any. Our investigators weren’t home and we didn’t even get in with any of the less actives. It was really, really windy too and the AP was "getting worried about our health" I thought that was pretty funny. His area is a lot more north so he really wasn’t used to the cold.

Saturday we planned a family home evening with a part member family and another family. It was awesome! We watched Finding Faith in Christ then bore our testimonies. Then we taught them the game “signs” where everyone sits in a circle and one person is in the middle trying to guess who has the sign (Rachelle will have to explain it to you) But it was such a blast and they loved it! They keep asking us when we are going to play it again, so we are planning another activity for the branch that we can invite our investigators to.

I got aunt Donna’s letter today (thank you aunt Donna). It sounds like they are doing a bunch of missionary work too! And to answer your question, the weather is very unpredictable here. I’m guessing it’s like Snowflake. It rains at least once a week and is sunny one second and pouring the next. Usually lots of wind.

Oh, the family we are helping build the house is doing awesome and progressing! Mauro, the father, read the 3 Nephi 11 reading assignment and said he wanted to know the people it was talking about so he has read the first 17 chapters so far of 1 Nephi on his own! We taught them how to pray last time. We taught them and compared prayer to a hamburger, where all hamburgers start and end the same but in the middle is what you are feeling. When we went back they told us they all made their hamburgers that night and felt really good! We also got some members to come with us to do some service with them so they are getting to know the members a little better.

Oh, I have to tell you about a little answered prayer. Just a little sign of God’s love. Last P-day we got back to the apartment after 6, which is breaking the rules because we are suppose to leave by 6 to start working again so I felt really bad. The whole time we were working it was raining so hard! I was really freezing too and I thought God was punishing us for being late so I said a prayer because I was about to freeze to death and the next house let us in! It was a less active member that hasn’t been to church for about 4 years. He is really nice and we are going to start working with him.

I’ve got togo. Thanks so much for your letters!! They really cheered me up after having a hard week. Oh and I can definitely tell you are praying for my language because I have improved so much lately!! I can have conversations with all the members of the ward and it is helping so much! So keep praying because I can’t do it without Heavenly Father’s help! LOVE YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
