Hola familia
This week has been great! I hope you all had just as good as a week as me. I haven´t heard much so im not sure. Dad thanks a ton for your letter though! I always need advice and yours is some of the best in my opinion. I will talk to my companion about a lot of what you said and hopefully put it into practice.
How was your trip? did you make it back safetly? Another great week of school Rachelle? =) Did Amber have her baby yet? maybe you could send me some pìctures.
This week has been great because we have been working so hard! Im exaugsted. I think its a mix of all the walking and caste llano and little sleep.
We got some really good new investigators this week. Actually yesterday mostly! Its always at the very end... But we taught a Lady whose dad is in our ward. That went pretty good, except when I participate in the lesson. I really wonder how much people understand me. Every time I ask a question they don´t realize im asking a question, so it makes me wonder. It is very frustrating not being able to say what you want to say or not understanding much of the conversation. I want to speak fluently now! Im getting up early to study more and am praying very very often. But if you have anymore suggestions im always open, prayers always help too.
Hilda our awesome investigator is still awesome. We gave her a gospel principles book to study a chapter on prophets after we taught her about prophets and she read the first 17 chapters of the book in two days before we came back. Haha she is sweet. Her husband asked for a book too. He started listening to our lessons and we watched the restauracion with them. They were both at stake conference yesterday too. Sister (I don´t remember her name, but she is the chinese lady that spoke at general conference) spoke. It was a good thing I understood english though because the translation was pretty bad and hard to hear. We also heard from Sister Julie Beck and Brother and Sister Bowen of the 70. It was pretty sweet for us english speakers. The first lady was the only one that used a translator and the other ones spoke in the spanish they knew. It wasn´t too bad but I don´t think the Argentines liked the conference as much as me. Except maybe the food after! It was the first conference ive gone to that had food.
We also found another family from Bolivia that we taught yesterday for the first time. They were really excited so we will see how that goes. Also Yazmin, the 18 we were finally able to teach again yesterday. She had read all the intro to the book of mormon and testimonies and said it was kind of weird because she thought the whole book was about Joseph Smith. Haha but she wants to come to church and we have an appointment tomorrow with her.
Our crazy man Cezar told us he didn´t want to listen to us anymore. It was really sad because he had been doing better everytime we visited.
Its still been pretty cold this week. It rained for a couple days straight this week again. Maybe this week it will start warming up...
This week is the start of the new transfer. Only one Elder got transferred in our district, Elder Cox, and he is getting replaced with a mini missionary today.
Well I think thats about all. I have learned so stinken much these past weeks. This next transfer is going to be a good one! LOVE YOU all and hope everything is going good!
