It’s me! :)
Dear fam
This computer is giving me problems. It’s only letting me send one
picture and it took forever at that. It’s a picture from the "house of
tea" that we went to 2 weeks ago.
Well this transfer has now ended and the new one has commenced. We got
a call Saturday morning from the mission president and my companion
has been called as Assistant President. He left late last night. My
new companion comes tomorrow morning. His name is Elder Perez. He was
born in Peru but lived most of his life in Chile. I’m really excited to
lead the area but feel very unprepared. This area is so big and has
tons of potential, a very big responsibility! AHH
I forgot my agenda so I don’t remember what happened this week. Haha.
One thing I remember is that we are teaching a singer of a pretty
popular band down here. He is way cool and came to church on Sunday.
Oh and we had a sweet activity! Us missionaries planned a stake
missionary activity. We split everyone that came into 2 groups. Each
group had to complete 5 games and the group to do it fastest got to
enter into the "celestial kingdom". There were obstacle games. One you
had to thrown and catch water balloons with towels. Another you had to
walk through this course carrying a marble with a spoon from your
mouth. Another you had to pop a balloon by sitting on it after running
through a obstacle course with it. Another had to fish candy out of
buckets of flour with only your face. The celestial kingdom = we were
all dressed in white with a black light. (not exactly how I picture
the celestial kingdom, but it was really cool) In there we talked to
those that had won and asked how they felt about those that didn’t make
it. We told them to go invite everyone to the celestial kingdom. We
related that to having to invite everyone to the gospel! It was fun!
Love ya all!!
elder Tryon
