¡Hola! ¿como anda?
Well I hope you get those 6 pictures. I could only figure out how to send them as attachments, which takes a long time! The one is of my last district I joined at the MTC, a couple of the waterfalls we went to, and the other of our surprise weather we had. Then the one with me and my trainer doing our little get to know each other activity at the mission home. and then me with president and sister Peterson
I thought the weather was getting better but this week was a little out of place. Wednesday night is rained the whole night and then all day Thursday. Luckily Thursday was our weekly planning day so we got to spend a couple extra hours in the apartment, but still I was soaked. The wind is always blowing and it was freezing and nobody lets you in when its raining here it seems like. No sympathy... Then Friday we woke up to a white blanket of snow. It was pretty cool! Until we had to walk in it all day. It snowed all that day and Saturday it snowed/rained all day so it was extra slushy. So most of our days were spent wet. They call it nieve tonto (dumb snow) because it is the last snow of the year and it shouldn´t come because its almost summer.

So this week was pretty tough, we fell short on a lot of goals because no one wanted to talk to us. This week is the last week of the transfer though and we are going to make it a good one.
We hadn´t been able to teach Yasmin or Nicolas this week, but we have been teaching Hilda everyday! She is so awesome! Everytime we leave her a pamplet she reads the whole things and does all the extra studying in the back. She went to our branch activity and church again this week and really liked it. Last night we were teaching her O.L.A. (orar, leer, assitir(pray, read, and attend,)) and after the lesson I asked her if she had been praying to receive an answer if the Book of Mormon is true and she said she is but hasn´t gotten an answer yet, she loves the Book of Mormon so much though. Her husband (actually not her husband, we are working on that), who hasn´t listened to any of our lessons started listening when I asked her that. He was very interested when we were talking about that and then afterwards talked with us (mostly my companion because I can´t understand him) for an extra 30 minutes. I think we are going to start teaching them both soon.
Oh and I have to tell you about another new investigator named Cesar we found this week. We were just walking down the street past a man kicking a soccer ball with a boy, when the man ran over towards us and told us to come in his house. So we did and found out he has many problems. He really is crazy. Thats probably the only reason he let us in haha. He does drugs and smokes like crazy. He can't hold still and talks really loud and slurrs it probably doesn´t help that he has so little teeth left. He lives in a house about 12x12 feet by himself. But we taught him the first lesson and made an appointment to come back. That night we were at the church and I don't know how he knew we were there but he came knocking on the door to tell us his pastor told him, he couldn´t listen to us anymore. But we stopped by the next day anyways and taught him some more. We gave him a Book of Mormon and went over the Apostasy and Agency and how to know who to trust. We also told him to stop the drugs and smoking. The next day we came back and found out he had burned the book of mormon because the devil told him to and was really sorry. We have been stopping by everyday. He has stopped the drugs now and yesterday he let us burn all his cigarrettes. Sometimes I think we are wasting our time with him, but I think if he stops doing all those bad things he might be able to change. We will see.
My song at the activity I thought was pretty bad but no one else noticed my mistakes including my companion who has heard me play it probably 10 times before. I was asked quite a few times after if I could play the piano during sacrament. I really wish I could. I think our talks went good. I don´t know how much they understood my talk but they seemed alert the whole time which is kinda rare. My companion ended up giving a talk, teaching gospel principals, and priesthood, haha he is a good guy.
Well I hope everything has been going well on your trip. I hope Rachelle got back home safe too and had a super birthday =). Is she just going to stay with Jeannette till you get home? Im jealous that your are getting to see the sites! I pray for you everyday. Keep up the good work and keep me in your prayers as well. Pray for the little Bariloche city in Argentina as well =).
Love ya all and thanks so much for your support!
